Transhumance Experience
Be part of a unique ancestral and gourmet experience in the heart of Spain’s Maestrazgo country. This exclusive package combines a luxury stay at La Torre del Visco with the opportunity to accompany our artisan supplier Fernando Robres and his family as they drive their cattle to new pastures. This ancient transhumance practice is the seasonal movement of livestock between summer and winter pastures on foot, following historic Roman routes through pristine countryside. The care and respect for the welfare of his cattle is evident in the superb flavour of the organic beef Fernando produces.
